TAOA is a trans-led community-based organization in Kenya dedicated to supporting transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced persons. Founded in 2022 as a support group, we provide holistic services addressing unique challenges faced by TGNC individuals.
Securing and supporting housing for TGNC individuals, providing refuge from violence and discrimination.
Provision of referrals for GBV and IPV cases, emergency supplies, and crisis intervention.
Access to culturally sensitive healthcare, including SRHR services and health education initiatives.
